Hop extract dosing unit MC 100

Consumption of 200 to 800 kg / week. With the dosing unit MC 100, hop extracts (CO2 extract, ethanol extract, IKE) in drums are dosed. All drums offered are used:

  • Regardless of drum height and diameter
  • With a content of 60 to 200 kg
  • Made of steel, stainless steel or plastic (conical and stackable)

Even drums with transport damage can be used.

The dosage rate is 3 to 6 kg per minute in a batch dosage or 2 to 20 kg per hour in a (continuous) flow-dependent dosage.

OPERATION / DOSING SEQUENCE

A drum is taken from the transport pallet with a drum trolley and pushed into the heated chamber. A removal or change of barrel lid or attachment of the barrel in the unit is not required.

When the product achieves fluidity, the barrel is tilted and the content completely emptied into a buffer tank.

The agitator integrated in the buffer tank homogenises the product before each dosage.

The product is pumped via a mass flow meter directly into the wort kettle or wort cycle. The mass flow meter accurately registers the weight and passes on the value to the brewhouse control.

The brewhouse control monitors and controls the dosing process.
