Hop extract dosing unit MC 80

Consumption up to 200 kg / week. With the dosing unit MC 80, hop extracts (CO2 extract, ethanol extract, IKE) in tins with up to 20 kg are dosed.

The dosage rate is 1 to 3 kg per minute in a batch dosage or 0.2 to 10 kg per hour in a (continuous) flow-dependent dosage.

OPERATION / DOSING SEQUENCE

The tins are manually opened and placed on a grate in the heated buffer tank. The product is heated and flows into the buffer tank.

The agitator integrated in the buffer tank homogenises the product before each dosage.

The product is pumped through a mass flow meter directly into the wort kettle or wort cycle. The mass flow meter accurately registers the weight and passes on the value to the brewhouse control.

The brewhouse control monitors and controls the dosing process.
